In collaboration with the association Geologiavventurosa, the project seeks to develop innovative methodologies that promote the active participation of communities and institutions, thereby contributing to economic development and the fight against poverty. The ultimate objective is to build a sustainable and inclusive future while preserving Italy's cultural and natural heritage.
Let us focus on the real economy; we utilize the knowledge economy.
The knowledge economy is an economic model in which the production and distribution of goods and services are primarily based on the creation, management, and utilization of knowledge and information. In this context, knowledge becomes a key factor for competitiveness and economic growth, surpassing the traditional importance of material resources and physical labor.
Key Characteristics of the Knowledge Economy:
Innovation and Research: Innovation is at the heart of the knowledge economy. Companies and institutions invest in research and development (R&D) to create new products, services, and processes.
Human Capital: The skills, experiences, and capabilities of individuals are fundamental. Education and continuous training are essential for developing a highly qualified human capital.
Information Technology: The use of digital technologies and information is crucial for collecting, analyzing, and sharing knowledge. The internet and digital platforms facilitate access to and dissemination of information.
Collaboration and Networking: Collaborative networks among businesses, universities, research centres, and institutions are important for fostering the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Intangible Value: In a knowledge economy, the value of companies is often determined by intangible assets, such as patents, trademarks, know-how, and customer relationships, rather than by material goods.
